Research support

Within the Bioengineering Research Group, Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics Research Institute Vall d'Hebron Dr. Soldado develops multiple clinical and experimental investigations (See his CV).

Contribute to research is investing in the development of medicine and the advances that will shape our future, is to ensure better quality of life for our children.

The research lines of Dr Soldier with priority in receiving partnership are:

  • Studies in obstetric brachial palsy in a rat model. Focused prevernir or treat the sequelae of obstetric brachial palsy  (more information in OPB).
  • Bioengineering for bioartificial muscle development. Imagine replenish muscles that do not work in people with paralysis to recover wasted movements. The objective of these studies in an animal model is the development of a full muscle laboratory that can be transplanted to a living being to supply muscles that have lost their function.
